Abstract

By applying remote sensing images, this paper develops a new method which deals with the classification and the mapping of forest site-types and provides confidential information for the activities of forest management. According to the verification of ground data, the accuracies of the quantization aerial photo site-index table for masson’s "pine, the predicted productivity model, maps and tables of site-types can meet the demands for application.
