Abstract

This paper states the calculation of the rigidity and strength of the boom structure by means of finite elements with a computer. The deformation and stress of evety point in the structure, which are rathet difficult to be calculated by a conventional method, are obtained and the results are analysed. This provides a leliable basis for the design of Type BY-13 of hydraulic loader.
