Dynamic Appraisal of Watershed Sustainable Development

Abstract

Based on increment degree of economic process ( I E ), satisfaction degree of social process ( I S ) and sustainability degree of natural process ( I N ) of watershed system, the paper puts forward synthetic appraisal indexes of watershed system sustainable development: development degree, namely I D=I 2 E+I 2 S+I 2 N3 , harmony degree, namely I H=1-(I E-) 2+(I S-) 2+(I N-) 23 and coupling degree, namely I C=12(I D+I H) . Finally, the paper points out dynamic judgement criteria of watershed system sustainable development that are strong sustainable criterion: " YI D(t 2)>YI D(t 1) and YI H(t 2)≥YI H(t 1) ", weak sustainable criterion: " GI D(t 2)>GI D(t 1) and GI H(t 2)≥GI H(t 1) ",and sustainable criterion: " II D(t 2)>II D(t 1) and II H(t 2)≥II H(t 1)".
