Based on past research and development of pneumatic dryer and vibro fluidized bed dryer, the fixed fluidized bed is put out nowadays in which materials can be moved in S shape. This equipment has been successfully used to dry CPE. The drying characteristics of CPE and fixed fluidized bed dryer are introduced. The best operation parameters of CPE drying in S shape fixed fluidized bed dryer are obtained. These are in the following: the fluidized velocity is 0.8～1.0 m/s, the area of the opening holes on the distribution board is 4%～9% , the drying temperatures in four sections of the drying chambers are 125 ℃?115 ℃?80 ℃?70 ℃.
