Abstract

Membrane assisted electrolysis (MAE) is a membrane separation technique, and is one of feasible methods to recover sodium from straw pulping black liquor(SPBL). MAE is a single-step caustic soda recovery process that uses direct current electricity from SPBL. The result shows that sodium ion recovery is influenced by electromobility in MAE.
