Abstract

This paper discussed the application of membrane separation technique in pulp and paper industry. Membrane separation technique can be used to concentrate the pulping waste liquor, separate the main components in the pulping waste liquor, treat bleaching, deinking, coating effluent and paper machine waste water. Applying membrane separation technique into paper industry can help to solve the pollution problem and decrease operation cost.
