On the basis of discussion on landscape pattern methods and its application to land utility,the mountainous landscape in Anji district is analyzed with help of landscape indexes such as fractal dimension,landscape diversity, landscape dominance,fragment and so on.The results show that fractal dimension and landscape dominance increase while landscape diversity and evenness decline and these changes indicate the degree of management from people is continuously enhanced.Some proposals are put forward accordingly.
