Abstract

The utilization of sodium hydrosulfite in pulp and paper industry both in China and abroad is reviewed.The basic mechanism,characteristics,application area and applying method of sodium hydrosulfite in pulp bleaching are introduced.In the paper,the analysis and prospects on sodium hydrosulfite application in Chinese pulp and paper industry are made.
