Abstract:
In this paper, the dynamic changes of the canopy interception, throughfall and stemflow of three types of typical subalpine forest communities, i. e., Abies faxonian forest, Quercus aquifolioide forest and shrub-bamboo, forest was investigated. The quantitative relationship among the canopy interception, throughfall and the rainfall was analysed, too. The results indicated that the average canopy interception values were 278.2 ram, 362.1mim, 353.7mm, and their rates accounted for 35.77%, 46.55%, 45.47% of the total annual precipitation in Q. aqulfolioide forest, Shrub-bamboo forest and A. faxonian forest, respectively. The stemflow quantity and rate of A. faxonian forest were 5.9ram and 0.76%, respectively. The canopy throughfall of three types of forest communities accounted for 53.77%, 53.45% and 64. 23%, respectively. The regression models among the canopy interception, throughfall and the rainfall were established to evaluate the eco-hydrological effects of subalpine forests and the basis of natural forest conservation and management in this area.
