Abstract:
The forest hydrological effects of Pingtonghe catchment were evaluated and forecasted by using Forest Catchment Hydrology Models. The results showed that the water storage in branches and leaves was 246.8mm,the amount of evaporation and diffusion in the forestry land was 515.3mm and 57% of soil surface runoff and throughflow in the rainy period was transferred to groundwater flow by forest in the Pingtonghe catchment.
