Abstract:
Wearemeetingwiththechallengesofevolutionarytransitionfromtraditionalbiotechnologytomodernbio technology.Thecurrentprogressesandprospectinginforestrybiotechnologyandtreebreedingarereviewedinthis paper.Thewoodyplantstissuecultureandwoodyplantsmassproductionwithembryogenesisembryotechnology, artificialseeds ,geneengineeringintreebreedingarethenewtypesofindustryinthe 2 1stcentury .Weshouldpay moreattentiontothesetopics,suchastreegenecopyrights;genetransferredtreevarietieswithowngenecopy rights,multiplegenestransfer,physiologicalresistantgenetransfer,andembryogenesisembryoauto -production. However,weshouldnoticethatallthemodernbiotechnologyisbasedonthetraditionaltechnologyoftreebreeding. Theproblemsregardingwiththesafetyofgenetransferredwoodyplantsarealsodiscussed .
