Abstract:
This paper selected Jiangxi province as a case, making use of the computer and GIS,discussing the techniques for building up the 1 : 1 000 000 country red soil information system,and also normalizes the code of soil type and soil attribute data of Jiangxi province’s red soil resource database. In this research, for the first time the soil type terrain method was adopted to express the spatial characteristics of the soil attribute, which greatly increased the matching accuracy.
