Abstract:
Community is the basic unit of plant landscape. It directly determines the structure and function of green space. This study is derived from Huilong Hill Park, Changxing, Zhejiang province. With the plant landscape planning concept of community-as-unit, goals and objectives of plant landscape planning are developed. Based on the master plan and investigation of plant distribution, with phytocenology theories of zonal difference, ecological suitability, succession, combined with existing topography and functional layout, five plant landscape zones are generated as below: ecological forest, shelter forest, artificial scenic forest, sightseeing fields, wetland. Different composition and combination are designed to reflect ecological-friendly landscape. Through the planning, environmental friendly and visual pleasing plant communities are cultivated, vegetation function is restored, and landscape effect is improved.
