Abstract:
Based on the field investigation of Phyllostachys nidularia Munro in Liangping county, Chongqing city, the growth of Ph. nidularia, elevation, slope position, aspect, slope degree, soil thickness, humus thickness, organic matter, content of stone block, total nitrogen and alkalization nitrogen were selected as survey factors of site conditions. The quantification theory and grade coefficient method were utilized to convert the qualitative factor to numerical factor. According to the principal component analysis, the result showed that the differentiation trend of types of site conditions of Ph. nidularia was controlled by soil fertility, general configuration of the surface soil and the morphological characteristics of the site. The hill of Ph. nidularia was divided into four site types based on the method of cluster analysis.
