Abstract:
In order to select fine fire resistence tree species to improve the construction of Xuyi county fire preventing forest belts. Sixteen indexes of leaves and branches of 8 tree species in Xuyi county fire preventing forest belts had been determined and statistical analysed.The result showed that the ability of fire resistance of 8 tree species in a descending row of Magnolia grandiflora, Populus tomentosa,Ligustrum lucidum,Camellia oleifera,Platycladus orientalis, Pittosporum tobira,Phyllostachys glauca and Cinnamomum camphora, respectively.
