Abstract:
The experiments were conducted to investigate the influence of the mushroom residue added on the quality of sewage sludge compost. Municipal sewage sludge mixed with mushroom residue in three different ratios(2:1, 1:1, 2:3, dry weight)was aerobically composted for 35 d. During the composting process, temperature, moisture content, pH, organic matter, nutrition nutrients and germination index(GI)were examined. The results indicated that the maturity of the products A, B and C of three different ratios could completely mature, which all achieved the organic agriculture fertilizers standard. For 1:1 proportion of municipal sewage sludge and mushroom residue was the most appropriate ratio.
