Abstract: In this paper, Rotary-veneer and Saw-veneer of quick-growing poplars were used as the raw materials, UF resin was selected as the adhesive. It proved a suitable approach of manufacturing door and window, and also technological process and conditions of hot-pressing and properties of laminated door and window were studied. The results obtained from this research showed that properties of laminated door and window were superior to solid-wood door and window, and hot-pressing and head-joint structure adoped in the study were simple and practicable.
