Abstract: The holistic environment in China is worsening unceasingly and the situation becomes more and more austere. It badly restricts Chinese economy construction and menaces the existence and development of our Chinese nation. It brooks no delay to strengthen the protection and improvement of the environment in China roundly. We should readjust the strategy of Chinese development in the 21th century and put the environment construction in the same important position as the economy construction. Both environment construction and economy construction, rather than economy construction alone, ought to be the focus of the work by Chinese government. Great attention should be paid to the serious ecological effects by harnessing and improving environment.
