Abstract: In this paper,the methods of sampling and testing on the released amount of formaldehyde of the furniture in the national standard were discussed.Some shortages of desiccator method to test the content of released formaldehyde in furniture were put forward and suggested being further perfected.’Large environmental test chamber method’ should be energetically generalized to replace ’desiccator method’ step by step in order to arrive at the advanced international level quickly and enhance international competition power of wooden products in China.Moreover,this paper is also to arouse people’s more attention to the standard.
