Abstract: With a view to revealed leaching characteristics of nutrients in percolating water of different Moso (Phyllostachys edulis) stands, percolating water was collected and analysed during the period from May 31 to July 23 in 2003. It turned out that patterns of distribution of the cationic ions concentration in percolating water were varied with soil depth or expermental stands. It was similar to patterns’of distribution of ions concentration in percolating water between non reclamation pure Moso stands and mixed Moso with Schima superba stands but different from reclamation pure Moso stands. The concentration of K+and Na+in percolating water at the depth of 40 cm downwards was higher than that of 20 cm in non reclamation pure Moso stands. Nevertheless, the status was reversal in reclamative one. The losing intensity of Ca2+and Mg2+significantly increased in reclamation pure Moso stands. The concentration of various cationic ions in percolating at the depth of 40 cm was higher than that of 20 cm in mixed Moso with S. superba stands. The concentration of NH4+-N at the depth of 20 cm was higher than that of 40 cm in pure Moso stands whereas reversed to mixed Moso with S. superba stands. The total leaching intensity of cationic ions in percolating water at the depth of 20 cm or 40 cm downwards was the highest in reclamation pure Moso stands, which of non reclamation pure Moso stands was lower than that of aiphyllium stands whereas it was minimal for mixed Moso with S. superba stands. Amounts of nutrients were the highest remained in the soil layer of 20-40 cm after percolation of mixed Moso with S. Superba stands, aiphyl
