林窗尺度对侧柏人工林植物多样性的短期影响

Short-term influence of forest-gap size on plant diversity in a Platycladus orientalis plantation

摘要: 【目的】明晰林窗尺度对侧柏人工林植物多样性的短期影响。【方法】在江苏徐州九里山阳坡面调查开设2 a后的3种尺度林窗(半径4 m林窗,编号S; 8 m林窗,编号M; 12 m林窗,编号L)中的植物多样性。【结果】①与对照样地(林窗附近样地)相比,不同尺度林窗内植物种类均有所增加。其中:灌木层植物在L、M、S林窗中分别增加了4种、7种、2种,草本层植物分别增加了4种、1种、3种,更新树种增加了2种、1种、1种。②除S林窗的灌木层外,林窗中的Margalef指数均显著大于对照样地(P<0.05),灌木层Margalef指数的最大值出现在M林窗,草本层中最大值出现在L林窗; L林窗和M林窗中灌木层的Shannon-Weiner指数显著高于对照样地(P<0.05); L林窗草本层的Pielou均匀度指数显著高于对照样地(P<0.05),并随林窗尺度增大基本呈现降低趋势。【结论】与S和L林窗相比,M林窗(半径8 m)对徐州侧柏人工林植物多样性和更新树种的增加有更大的促进作用。

Abstract: 【Objective】Determine the short-term influence of forest-gap size on plant diversity in a Platycladus orientalis plantation.【Methods】This study investigated plant diversity within three sizes of 2-year-old forest gaps(“S”, “M” and “L”, with radius of 4 m, 8 m, and 12 m, respectively). 【Results】① Species diversity values were higher in all forest-gap plot sizes than those in the control plots. Relative to the control plots, species number increased in the shrub layer by 4,7, and 2. In the herb layer by 4, 1, and 3, and in the canopy layer by 2,1, and 1, in the L, M, and S gaps, respectively. ② With the exception of the shrub layer in the S gap size, diversity values, as measured by the Margalef index, were significantly higher in all forest-gap sizes than those in the control plots. The shrub layer had the highest diversity in the M gaps and the herb layer had the highest diversity in the L gaps. The Shannon-Weiner index showed that species diversity in the shrub layer was significantly greater in the L and M gaps than that in the control plots. The Pielou uniformity index indicated that species evenness in the herb layer was significantly lower in the L gaps than that in the control plots and had a slightly negative relationship with forest-gap size. 【Conclusion】Plant diversity and tree species regeneration in a P. orientalis plantation in Xuzhou City were higher in the M forest gaps than they were in the S and L gaps.
