摘要

【目的】为扩充国内观赏海棠新品种和观赏类别,选育集红叶、红花和红果者于一体的观赏海棠新品种。【方法】2005年,收集‘红丽’海棠(Malus ‘Red Splender’)自由授粉种子,播种后从子代中筛选集红叶、红花和红果于一体的海棠新品种。【结果】选育的海棠新品种‘大棠婷靓’(Malus ‘Datang Tingliang’),伞状花序,花型平,单瓣。花蕾紫色,花朵红紫色。花朵压平后直径4.5 cm,花瓣椭圆形,排列方式相连。树势强,树型直立,幼叶红色,开展叶片红绿色,叶面光泽度强,观赏周期长。【结论】‘大棠婷靓’花果艳丽,树形优美,符合新品种特异性,有较高观赏价值。

Abstract

【Objective】 To increase the existing cultivar range and expand the categories of ornamental crabapple (Malus), we bred a new cultivar with red leaves, red flowers, and red fruits. 【Method】 We selected a new cultivar from the progeny of Malus ‘Red Splender’. 【Result】 The new cultivar Malus ‘Datang Tingliang’ expressed a single-flower umbel inflorescence. The corolla was flat. The color of flower buds changed from purple to bright red-purple while blooming, with no obvious fading. Flowers had a length of 4.5 cm with elliptical and touching petals. The tree had a columnar canopy with strong tree vigor, with tall and graceful stature. The color of young leaves was red and changed to red-green during development, and upper sides of the leaves displayed strong glossiness. The viewing period was long. 【Conclusion】 The flowers were beautiful and the leaf spread similar to a wall in spring and shadows in summer, with abundant red fruits in autumn. ‘Datang Tingliang’ demonstrates high ornamental value.
