摘要:
回顾安息香科(Styracaceae)植物系统分类学的研究历史。分析安息香科系统学研究的多学科证据,发现叶片脉序结构、形态解剖、花粉形态、染色体数目、数量分类学和分子系统学研究等证据对安息香科的范围和属的界定具有重要价值。安息香属(Styrax )的染色体基数是8,白辛树属(Halesia)、北美银钟花属(Pterostyrax)、秤锤树属(Changiostyrax)和长果安息香属(Sinojackia)的染色体基数是12。分子系统学的研究结果表明,安息香科可以分为4个分支:安息香属和山茉莉属(Huodendron)分别构成基部的2个分支,赤杨叶属(Alniphyllum)和岐序安息香属(Bruinsmia)构成一支,而安息香科其他各属构成一支。根据这些证据提出了安息香科的一个新分类系统:安息香科可分为4个族,即安息香族(Styraceae)、山茉莉族(Huodendreae)、赤杨叶族(Alniphylleae)和银钟花族(Halesieae);其中安息香族包括安息香属,山茉莉族包括山茉莉属,赤杨叶族包括赤杨叶属和岐序安息香属,而银钟花族包含了其他各属;从白辛树属分出一新属——万钧安息香属(Chengiostyrax)。
