李洲坳东周古墓棺木用材树种鉴定及材性分析

Wood identification and properties analysis of the coffin timbers taken from Lizhouao ancient tomb in Jiang’an county of Jiangxi

摘要: 通过对李洲坳东周古墓47具棺木进行现场取样鉴定,发现除编号G44棺木树种为楠木(Phoebe sp.),其余均为杉木(Cunninghamia lanceolata)。对杉木材质棺木进行物理力学性能测试,结果表明:出土木材的气干密度与正常材差异较小; 出土杉木木材强度为正常材的65%左右; 出土木材降解程度相对较低,这与棺材埋藏的封闭环境具有较大的关系; 木材的降解主要与土壤的酸碱水解作用有关,并非由真菌与细菌引起。

Abstract: Lizhouao ancient tomb in Jing’an county of Jiangxi is one of China’s top ten archaeological discoveries of 2007. The tomb was built at middle to late of the Spring and Autumn Period. Many wooden relics have been excavated from this tomb, including 47 coffins. 86 wet-wooden samples were collected from this tomb. All coffin woods were identified as Chinese fir(Cunninghamia lanceolata), except coffin G44 which was phoebe(Phoebe sp.). The physical and mechanical properties show that excavated Chinese fir has similar density with modern wood of Chinese fir; the MOR and MOE is 65% of modern wood. The degradation of excavated wood is relative low, which is related with the buried condition. The degradation might be effected by the pH of soil and hydration, other than fungi and bacteria. This research can support to further conservation and protection of cultural relics.
