Plus tree selection and progenies test of Pinus massoniana in western Fujian province

摘要: 为营建马尾松高世代种子园提供速生、优质和结实量大的建园材料,通过对139个19年生闽西马尾松优树子代结实量 、木材基本密度及2个年度生长性状进行调查研究,从中选择速生、优质、结实高产的种子园建园材料。结果表明:不同优 树子代在树高、胸径、材积、结实量和木材基本密度等性状上存在极显著差异。采用综合评分法选出71个优良家系,其平均 树高、胸径、材积为131 m、214 cm、0229 9 m3,平均结实量为546个球果,平均木材基本密度为0391 1 g/cm3。在优良家系中开展优良单株选择,入选的69个单株其平均树高、胸径、材积、结实量、木材基本密度分别为1596 m、293 cm、0467 4 m3、113个球果和0387 0 g/cm3。

Abstract: In order to select materials with fast growth, sound wood quality and high fructification for advanced generation seed orchards of Pinus massoniana, the fructification, wood basic density and 2year investigation of the growth status of progenies from 139 plus trees of 19yearold P. massoniana in western Fujian province were conducted. Results showed that there were significant differences among all the traits studied. Seventy one excellent families were selected by the integrated assessment method, they had average tree height 131 m, average DBH 214 cm, average individual volume 0229 9 m3, average individual fructification 546 cones and average wood basic density 0391 1 g/cm3. Sixtynine plus trees were further selected from the excellent families, they had average tree height 1596 m, average DBH 293 cm, average individual volume 0.467 4 m3,average individual fructification 113 cones and average wood basic density 0.387 0 g/cm3.
