棉花竹纤维细胞壁的发育特征

Developmental changes of fiber wall of Fargesia fungosa

摘要: 【目的】以棉花竹为实验材料,揭示棉花竹秆内部的解剖特征,总结其纤维细胞壁的发育规律,并为棉花竹作为经济竹材的使用提供一定的理论依据。【方法】用蔡康CK1000光学数码显微镜分别观察5个龄级棉花竹秆壁中的3个维管束,并用DS-3000二维软件测定维管束长度、宽度和后生导管直径以及纤维细胞壁层数和厚度,总结不同龄级秆中纤维细胞次生壁的增厚方式。【结果】在5个龄级棉花竹秆中纤维细胞壁的增厚幅度逐渐下降。所占比例最多的是具有3~4层细胞壁的纤维细胞, 在36月龄秆中才开始出现7~8层和9层以上细胞壁的纤维细胞。棉花竹纤维细胞壁增厚类型被总结为6种,类型 Ⅵ所占比例最多(35.28%)。纤维细胞壁层数与壁厚间相关性极其显著的是位于1月龄棉花竹秆中的纤维细胞,但60月龄时相关性为负数。【结论】棉花竹秆壁内侧的维管束主要为完全分化的开放型维管束,而竹青处则为未分化完成的半分化维管束。纤维细胞壁层数与壁厚随秆龄的增加而增加,纤维细胞壁层数与壁厚之间的相关性随秆龄的增加而减小。纤维细胞壁的增厚类型被总结为6种,60月龄成熟秆中纤维鞘外围仍然具有未完成加厚的腔大壁薄且层多的纤维细胞(类型Ⅵ)。棉花竹纤维细胞壁的2种主要增厚方式随着秆龄的增加而变化。

Abstract: 【Objective】The present study investigated the anatomical and developmental characteristics of fibers from Fargesia fungosa in order to obtain fundamental information for the bamboo culms used as timbers. 【Method】Three vascular bundles were taken from the third layer of the inner culm walls of five age classes to measure the length and width of the vascular bundles, diameter of the metaxylem vessels, and number as well as thickness of the fiber wall layer. 【Results】The vascular bundles in the inner culm walls of F. fungosa were mainly open type, whereas those in the outer culm walls were mainly semi-differentiated. The intensity of fiber wall deposition decreased with age increasing. Fibers with three to four wall layers were the most common in the five age classes, and fibers with seven to eight layers and greater than nine layers firstly appeared in 36-month-old culms. The fiber wall deposition patterns were categorized into six types, among which Type Ⅵ accounted for the highest ratio(35.28%). The correlation between fiber wall thickness and number of wall layers was positive in 1-month-old culms but negative in 60-month-old culms. 【Conclusion】Both number of fiber wall layers and fiber wall thickness increased with age increasing, whereas the correlation between them decreased. Some of the fibers at the periphery of the fiber sheaths from 60-month-old culms still possessed large-diameter lumens and thin walls and had still not fully completed their deposition. There were two thickening ways in fiber wall deposition, i.e. the widening between wall layers and the increasing number of wall layers, which also changed with age.
