【目的】巨紫荆为重要的园林树种,其分类地位一直存在争议,拟对其分类处理予以厘定。【方法】采用了分类文献考证、实地采样调查及形态比较分析和观察相结合的方法。【结果】原定名不符植物命名法规,巨紫荆的名称为无效发表。【结论】将巨紫荆归并入湖北紫荆(Cercis glabra)。
Abstract
Abstract: 【Objective】 As an important landscape plant, the classification status of Cercis gigantea is still not known, this study intends to clarify this status. 【Methods】This study adopts the methods of classification history carding, field investigation, and morphology comparison observation. 【Results】 The name C. gigantea is invalid because of its unconformity to the plant code. 【Conclusion】Cercis gigantea is suggested to merge into C. glabra.
