水曲柳厚板材的高温干燥

HIGH TEMPERATURE DRYING OF THICK PLANKS OF FRAXINUS MANDSHURICA

摘要: <正>高温干燥法已经广泛地用来干燥针叶材及易于干燥的阔叶材。但是,极少见到关于此法应用于难干阔叶材的资料,例如水曲柳的干燥。 作者用5厘米厚的水曲柳板材进行了一系列高温干燥试验(湿球温度保持在97℃,干球温度达110℃),并取得了较好的结果。 在试验中,观察了木材对不同介质条件的反应、“波动处理”的效果及干燥过程中木材色泽的变化,并测定了木材内部逼度的分布情况。木材含水率从31%降至10.6%所需的干燥时间为52小时,从42.7%降至15.2%则需99小时。 试验结果表明,与常规窑干法相比,高温干燥法在不发生端裂,表裂、蜂窝裂及扭曲的情况下大大缩短了干燥时间。 本文对某些干燥机理进行了讨论,并提出了一个参考基准。

Abstract: The high temperature drying (HTD) method has been widely used in treating softwood and nonrefractory hardwood. However, there is little literature about the application of this method to most of the refractory hardwood, e. g., Fraxinus mand-shurica.A series of HTD experiments has been carried out by the author (with the wet bulb temperature at 97c, and the dry bulb temperature up to 110C) on Fraxinus mandshurica planks of 5 cm thickness and desirable results has been obtained.In the experiments the reactions of planks to various medium conditions, the effect of "fluctuated drying process" and the change of colors of planks in drying runs were observed, and the temperature distributions in planks determined. The time required for planks to dry from the moisture content of 31% to that of 10.6% was 52 hours and from the MC of 42.7% to that of 15.2% was 99 hours.The test results show that as compared with conventional drying method the HTD method can greatly reduce the drying time of thick planks of Fraxinus mandshurica without end check, surface check, honeycomb and twist.Discussions on drying mechanisms are made and a reference drying schedule is suggested.
