This article analyses the effect of body weight and height of students on their records of putting the shot under the similar conditions of their physical quality and technique skilfulness. With help of the regression equation it has been found that the height does not much affect the result, but the weight is the main factor to determine it. In is unreasonable to check the students of a class with the same standard which should be reformed for the examination in physical education.
