Abstract: Based on the literature information collected by the Information Office of Nanjing Forestry University, the authors, since 1950 have classified all the bamboo research papers into 8 main study areas and analyzed each of them by use of time series analysis modle, both the self-regression equations and periodogram from the statistical model show a decline tendency of bamboo literature for most classical and mature study areas, However few prosperous areas such as bamboo economics, garden design etc. will develop rapidly later on.
