Abstract: Based on the characteristics of forest resources management and the situation of Chinese forest management organizations,taking Jincang forestry farm as an example,this paper introduces the general design of management information system of forestry resources developed by GIS ActiveX MapX and the technology of development,and detailed explanations of the structure and the function of the system are also given.This system plays an important role in the intensive management of forestry centres of China.
