Abstract: In May 6, 1987, a catastrophic forest fire took place in Da Hinggan Mountains, which affected more than 1.33×105 hm2 of natural forest and produced a heterogeneous mosaic of burn severities and islands of unburned vegetatidn across the landscape. Due to natural succession and anthropogenic disturbance, after about ten years, the spatial pattern of the landscape in this area has changed greatly. In this paper,a typical area was selected as a case study, which is the Tuqiang forest bureau, including two forestry farms, the influence of the fire intensity on the change of the forest landscape pattern was analyzed in a landscape scale. The result showed that=the difference of fire intensity induces the change of natural environment factors such as seed source, soil physical and chemical character, and correspondingly decides the renovating and resumptive measures of forest landscape after the fire, and further affects the dynamic change trend of forest landscape structure. The study aims at offering scientific gist for reasonable management and development of forest resources after fire.
