Abstract: The correlate analysis on the tree shape and output character in young and adult trees which belong to 12 families of varied types of Tungoiltree has been made.It shows the heritability differs in families,the heritabity and repeatability of year are much higher.There is a much closer correlation in diameter of trunk and height of main branch in the first year with those in the fifth year,but there is less in height of tree.There is a negative correlation in output in the second year with that in the following years,but there is a positive correlation in other factors,and the phenotype is in correspondence with that as stated above.It is reliable on the family of “Zaofong”type to select the tree shape in the first year and output in the second year.The selection of other types with high product and stable product put off 1～2 years.
