Abstract: Based on analysis of the composition、goal、structure and function of agroforestry systems,and according to the methods and requirements of studies on the agroforestry systrems,the author put forward the method of functional classification and naming.Compared with the old method, functional classification is better for the study of the agroforestry systems and provided a scientific basis for model appraisal and model selection.
