Abstract: Based on the density management model of plantation established by continuous stages dynamic program, the linear program of zero-one variables was presented to optimize decision of thinning techniques during stand management. The mathematical model and concrete method were presented and discussed. The optimal decision projection of thinning in Chinese fir plantation during stand management showed that the linear program of zero-one variables could get the satisfactory results.
