Abstract: Guided by the framework of national forest resource information management network,this paper deals with the method of establishing that computerized system.With the help of VB,VC,XML,SQL Server,Mapinfo and other software technology,the information integration and exchange platform of the system was established.Then some subsystem of information management such as forest management,forest utilization,forest protection,forest landscape management,etc.were synthesized in the platform.Through the instance in Hangzhou,the paper also introduce the practical application of the system in detail.
