Abstract: Green Jiaogso construction is the main contenl of ecological province construction. In this paper, the achievemeot of Green Jiangso eonstraction from 2(103to 2007was summarized, and several problems which existed during Jiangsu forestry developmeot were uncovered. According to the goal and task of GreenJiangsu construetinn in next 5years, some measures such as innovating foreslry developing thought, developing forestry industry, pushing up forestry science and technology progress, administering strictly forest resources by the law, deepening forestry management svslem reformation, etc. were put forward.
