Heat conduction in a quasi1D carbon chain

摘要: 采用分子动力学方法研究了有限长度准一维碳链的热传导,其碳原子之间的互作用势采用TersoffBrenner势。经过计算表明:碳链的热导率κ在室温下数值非常高;κ相对于链长是发散的,且与链长呈对数发散关系。

Abstract: The thermal conductivity of the finite length quasi1D carbon chains with the TersoffBrenner bond order potential had been numerically calculated by the molecular dynamics method. It was found that the thermal conductivity κ was very high at room temperature and diverges as the chain length, which follows a logarithmic behavior.
