以长白山天池为例，比较了它与国内其他湖泊旅游地在环境、经济、社会3方面的优劣势，结果表明：长白山天池在美学价值、景观独特性、自然景观丰富程度、环境保护等方面均有优势，而在旅游的季节性、区域旅游组合和旅游收入、客源市场和区位条件方面则存在劣势，旅游门票制定和宣传促销方面也有待改进。因此在其旅游开发中，必须注重整合旅游资源，发掘旅游产品，加强旅游联合，实行旅游产业升级，加大旅游促销，以提高社会和环境效益。
Abstract
This paper takes the Heavenly Lake in Changbai Mountain in Jilin province as a research case, aimed at finding out discover crux of the issues, then and puts forward countermeasures and provides some experience for other lake destination for reference. By the methods of comparative research, onsite survey and literature investigation, this paper compares Heavenly Lake in Changbai Mountain with other lake destinations in environmental, economic and social aspects in an allround way. The results show that the lake has superiority in terms of aesthetical value, specificity of landscape, richness of natural views, environmental protection and so on. Still, it has inferiority in terms of adaptability to travel, regional tourism combination, tourism income, markets and accessibility. There are still some deficits in terms of formulation of admission and promotion. Therefore, during its tourism development, to integrating tourism resources, exploring new tourism products, pushing forward tourism combination, implementing tourism industrial upgrading, enhancing tourism promotion, improving societal and environmental effects is the right way to go.
