Control method for color quality of digital proofing based on GMG

摘要: 在GMG流程的基础上,通过自主设计的测试色靶,对GMG流程数码打样色彩进行了快速控制。以色空间均匀为测试色靶的设计依据,建立GMG色彩控制方案,研究了MX4文件的校正原理与方法,比较校正前后的色差、色域、阶调层次数据。结果表明:校正后打样稿的各项色彩指标均优于校正前;该测试色靶可以对数码打样色彩进行检测与控制,方法简单高效,质量能达到规范化标准,方案可行,且能达到稳定打样质量、节约成本、提高工作效率的目的,可推广应用于数码打样色彩快速检测和局部色差纠正。

Abstract: Based on GMG process, a test color target is designed to rapidly control digital proofing color. The uniform color space is selected as design basis of color test target, then GMG color control program is established. Afterwards, some studies on the correction principle and method about MX4 profile are carried out. Moreover, color data obtained before and after the correction is compared, including aberration, color gamut and tone. The results show that after correction, the various color index of sample is better than that before the correction, and the color target is available for proofing color's test and control. It is also found that the control method is simple and efficient, the acquired quality can reach the standardization, and the program is workable. On the other hand, this method can achieve stable proof quality, save the cost, improve efficiency. Therefore, it has application value for the rapid detection of digital proof color and the correction of partial aberration.
