木材加工产业集聚、共聚与劳动生产率效应

Agglomeration, coagglomeration and labor productivity effects of wood processing industry

摘要: 【目的】了解中国木材加工产业集聚、共聚水平与演变趋势,揭示提高劳动生产率的关键集聚类型,为优化木材加工产业区域布局提供理论参考。【方法】利用产业集聚和共同集聚指数对1998—2016年木材加工两位数产业集聚水平和1998—2013年木材加工三位数产业集聚和共同集聚水平进行测度,同时以三位数产业集聚和共同集聚指数作为解释变量,控制人均固定资产价值,计量和解释产业集聚和共同集聚对产业劳动生产率的影响。【结果】木材加工两位数产业集聚水平整体呈上升趋势,具体4个三位数产业集聚水平变化各异; 木材加工三位数产业集聚和共同集聚对木材加工两位数集聚水平的影响系数分别为0.342 9和0.763 2; 三位数产业集聚和人均固定资产价值对产业劳动生产率影响显著,而三位数产业共同集聚对产业劳动生产率影响不显著。【结论】木材加工两位数产业集聚主要是由三位数产业共同集聚支撑,而产业劳动生产率的提高主要是由三位数产业集聚驱动,通过三位数产业集聚带来的规模经济和知识溢出效应,能够有效地促进木材加工产业的提质增效。

Abstract: 【Objective】Understanding the agglomeration level, coagglomeration level, and evolution trend, and revealing the effects of industrial agglomeration and coagglomeration on industrial labor productivity playedan important role in optimizing the regional layout of the wood processing industry in China.【Method】Using the index developed by Ellison and Glaeser, this paper measured the agglomeration level of the two-digit industry from 1998 to 2016 and agglomeration and coagglomeration levels of the three-digit industry from 1998 to 2013 in China’s wood processing industry. With the three-digit industrial agglomeration and coagglomeration index as explanatory variables and the per capita value of fixed assets as control variables, this paper clarified the effects of industrial agglomeration and coagglomeration on labor productivity.【Result】The results revealed that the agglomeration level of the two-digit wood processing industry had an overall upward trend, while the evolution trend of four three-digit industries varied. The influence coefficient of three-digit industrial agglomeration and coagglomeration level on the agglomeration of the two-digit wood processing industry was 0.342 9 and 0.763 2, respectively. The effects of three-digit industrial agglomeration and per capita fixed asset value on industrial labor productivity was significant, while the effects of three-digit industrial coagglomeration on industrial labor productivity was nonsignificant.【Conclusion】Two-digit wood processing industrial agglomeration was composed of mainly three-digit industrial coagglomeration, and the improvement of industrial labor productivity was driven mainly by such agglomeration. Through the economies of scale and knowledge spillover effects brought by the three-digit industrial agglomeration, the wood processing industry can be effectively promoted to improve quality and increase efficiency.
