Abstract: The tests of the imitating padauk involve water-heat treatment, drying, chemical treatment, finishing. The essence of the water-heat treatment is to soak wood with hot-water, dissolve out the glue matter within the wood, and dredge the ways of the water movement. Then, the drying flaws can be lightened and the chemical material can be poured into it, and physical and mechanical properties of wood may be raised.
