Abstract: This paper studies the compatibility of Italian fast-growing popular and cement, with the method of measuring hydration in the system of Cement- Particle-Water, and with SEM observation. Results show that untreated popular particles have inhibition on the setting of cement, but after the particles are treated by the physical or method, they can be used for producing wood-cement board.
