Abstract: This paper presented a brief introuduction to the history of chemical utilization of green crown of tree in USSR; specifications and uses of chlorophyll- carotene ointment, sodium chlorophyllin, provitamin concentrated solution, balsam paste, aromatic oil, wax and fodder powder that are now being produced, and also main processes as well as their economical effectivity. Finally this paper introduced the research direction of chemical utilization of green crown of tree in USSR.
