尾叶桉×邓恩桉早期生长和耐寒性的遗传分析

Genetic analysis on early growth and cold tolerance of Eucalyptus urophylla × E. dunnii hybrids

摘要: 为了解尾叶桉×邓恩桉杂种的生长和耐寒性遗传参数,以6株尾叶桉(母本)与7株邓恩桉(父本)杂交的析因交配群体为材料,进行了8月生耐寒性指数(C8)和20月生树高(H20)及胸径(D20)的遗传分析。结果表明:就3个性状表现看,母本、父本和母父本互作的方差分量均不显著。其中,母父本互作是耐寒性的主要来源,母本和母父本互作对生长均有贡献,母本对生长的贡献相对较大。C8、H20和D20的狭义遗传力分别为0、0.29和0.22,表明耐寒性基本不受加性基因控制,生长受中等程度的遗传控制。除H20与D20之间表型相关达0.05显著水平外,性状间其余表型相关和加性遗传相关均不显著。母本一般配合力与其一般杂交力的相关不显著,表明亲本一般配合力对其一般杂交力的预测性较差。此外,还评估了超母本的杂种优势。尾叶桉×邓恩桉杂种生长和耐寒性的遗传力均较低,速生耐寒育种宜以杂种和杂种单株选择为主。

Abstract: With the objective to clarify the genetic parameters of growth and cold tolerance in interspecific hybrids between Eucalyptus urophylla S. T. Blake and E. dunnii Maiden, a factorial mating population of the two species was investigated on 8-month-old cold tolerance(C8)as well as 20-month-old growth traits height(H20)and diameter at breast height(D20). For all the three traits measured, the variance components of E. urophylla female, E. dunnii male and female×male interaction were not significant, in which the interaction was the main source for C8 while both the female and interaction effects contributed to growth(H20 and D20), with the female effect at a higher magnitude. Narrow-sense heritability(h2)values of C8, H20 and D20 were 0, 0.29 and 0.22, respectively, indicating little genetic control of cold tolerance but moderate genetic control of growth. Except the significant phenotypic correlation(P<0.05)between H20 and D20, all the rest phenotypic and additive genetic correlation coefficients were not significant among traits. Female general combining ability(GCAF)and general hybridizing ability(GHAF)were weakly correlated. In addition, female-parent heterosis values were calculated. It was concluded that the h2 values for all the traits were markedly small and selection of superior hybrids and individuals would be appropriate in breeding practices.
