
木札岭华山松树轮宽度年表的建立及其气候响应
Development and climatic response of the tree⁃ring width chronology of Pinus armandii at Muzhaling Mountain
研究秦岭东部地区树轮对气候因子的响应,为该区域森林资源管理及抚育更新提供数据,并为气候重建提供参考。
以秦岭东部伏牛山区木札岭的主要针叶造林树种——华山松为研究对象,根据树木年代学方法将采集的样芯固定、风干、打磨,通过交叉定年及宽度测量和校正,去掉生长趋势和竞争干扰后建立树轮宽度年表, 最后利用DendroClim 2002对差值年表与不同气象站的气候因子做相关分析。
①对比树轮宽度差值年表与标准年表的统计量, 发现差值年表含有较丰富的气候信息, 更适合气候响应分析; ②不同气象站的单月资料分析均表明华山松径向生长与前一年8月的平均气温和平均最高气温均呈显著负相关,与降水量呈显著正相关,而与前一年11月和当年4月平均最低气温呈显著正相关;③就季节而言,前一年8月至当年5月的降水量与华山松生长也表现出较显著的正相关;④前一年8月至当年5月的帕尔默干旱指数(PDSI)与树木生长呈显著正相关,其中前一年冬季(前一年12月至当年2月)与树木生长相关性也较高。
前一年8月的水热组合及前一年11月和当年4月的平均最低气温是树木生长的重要影响因子;而前一年生长季晚期至当年生长季早期的非雨季降水是限制该区华山松生长的主要气候因子。
An analysis of the response of the tree rings of Chinese white pine (Pinus armandii), the main coniferous afforestation tree species, to climatic factors in the Muzhaling Mountain of Funiu Mountains, eastern Qinling Mountains, China, was performed from April 1956 to November 2016 to provide fundamental information for regional forest management and regeneration procedures as well as climate reconstruction.
Tree-ring width chronologies were developed based on the principles of dendrochronology by mounting sample cores on wood boards, air-drying and polishing, cross-dating, measuring and correcting ring width. Growth trends and ecological interference were removed before the establishment of the ring width chronology. The correlations between the residual chronology and climate factors were analyzed using DendroClim 2002.
We found that residual chronology contains more climatic information and is more suitable for climatic response analysis than standard chronology. Analysis of monthly data from different meteorological stations showed that tree growth of P. armandii had a significant negative correlation with mean temperature and mean maximum temperature and a significant positive correlation with monthly total precipitation in the previous August. Meanwhile, tree growth had significant positive correlation with mean minimum temperature in the previous November and the current April. In terms of seasons, there was a significant positive correlation between tree growth of P. armandii and precipitation from the previous August to the current May. Similarly, a significant positive correlation was found with the Palmer drought severity index(PDSI)from the previous August to the current May and in the previous winter(previous December to current February).
The hydro-thermal combination in the previous August and mean minimum temperature of the previous November and the current April were important factors for determining tree growth. Precipitation in the non-rainy season from the end of the previous growing season to the start of the current growing season was the main climatic factor limiting tree growth of P. armandii in this area.
