Abstract: In order to realize the four modernizations at the earliest possible date and promote the development of forestry, we must improve forestry education in our country.1 . Our forestry education should be developed in a direction of polytechnic.2 . It should be developed in various forms and at different levels.3 . Carry out the three-in-one principle of combining teaching, scientific research and production together conscientiously.4 . Strengthen the teaching of basic theory, basic knowledge and basic technique, improve teaching methods and emphasize the cultivation of intelligence of students.5 . Strengthen and improve the leadership of teaching and scientific research work of forestry colleges and other institutions of higher learning.
