Abstract: The paper systematically discussed the living environment and investigated the area of bamboo and the growing situation and other parameter. The result showed that there is only one species of bamboo could be used for the food resource of giant panda although it is growing well, most of them was small, and some had bloomed and died off, so the food factor would become the key factor in the existence of giant panda.
