Abstract: Occurrence areas of the forest pests and the kinds of some destructive pests in the last decades were being increased. Current status and main reasons about forest pests causing serious damage were reviewed and analysed. The control ways of the forest pests in China and abroad were compared, and in the future century, the problems to be faced and countermeasures to be taken on forest pests control were discussed in this paper.
