摘要: <正>1 997~ 1 999年分别于秋、春、夏三个不同时期在 2年生的高羊茅草坪草上施用草坪矮化剂。小区面积 2m× 2m ,随机排列 ,3次重复。结果表明 :草坪矮化剂能够显著减缓高羊茅的垂直生长速度。使用后的草坪修剪量减少 ,分蘖数增加、叶片变短增厚、叶色暗绿 ,草体根量增加、耐旱性增强 ,草坪品质得到明显改善。

Abstract: Field studies were conducted for three years (1997~1999)with two year tall fescue ( Festuca arundinacea ).Individual plots measured 2 by 2 m, were arranged in a randomized design with three replications.Turfgrass retardant (Tr) was used in the spring, the summer and the autumn respectively. The result showed that all Tr applications could reduce stem and leaf growth, enhance Tillering number (Tn),increased root mass, shorten leaf length, enhance leaf thickness and greenness compared to the check. Applying Tr on tall fescue could improve turf quality through increasing turf density and enhancing turfgrass drought resistance.
